Quick update regarding the severe threat:
- Storm Prediction Center still places Eastern Kentucky under a slight risk for severe storms.
- The new forecast discussion from the Jackson National Weather Service office states that the biggest threat from these storms is high winds.
- Tornado Watch still in effect for far Western Kentucky, which is also under a moderate risk for severe storms.
