UK's season ends: Open Thread
My beloved Kentucky Wildcats ended their season at Notre Dame tonight in the quarterfinals of the NIT. Notre Dame defeated the Cats 77-67. At one time, the Cats were down by 17 but clawed back to within six thanks mainly to the efforts of Jodie Meeks, who had 21 tonight. But the Fighting Irish lived up to its nickname and fought back.
Like sands through an hourglass, the Billy Gillispie soap opera begins in earnest. I hope Mitch Barnhart and Lee Todd make the best possible decision for the program's future. Post your thoughts on whether or not Billy G will stay or go. Keep it civil and clean.
