Iwo Jima Vets Condemn Time's 'Green' Issue

Veterans of Iwo Jima are criticizing Time magazine for using the famous picture of US soldiers raising the flag and replacing it for a tree. The tree cover is part of Time's 'green' issue which deals with climate change.

The Business and Media Institute has a great article on the tree controversy here. In my view, what Time is doing is disgraceful to all veterans. Our men and women serving in WWII saw a real enemy and faced real battles. While climate can change naturally, man's role in climate change is debated.
