Developing: Scholars claim Pelosi used false Bible verse on Earth Day

CNSNews.com is reporting that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi used a Bible verse that, according to scholars, is not in the Bible. Pelosi said on Earth Day:

"The Bible tells us in the Old Testament, 'To minister to the needs of God's creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us.' On this Earth Day, and every day, let us pledge to our children, and our children's children, that they will have clean air to breathe, clean water to drink, and the opportunity to experience the wonders of nature." Pelosi and her staff have refused to tell which transation the quote is from.

However, Claude Mariottini of the Northern Baptist Theological Seminary went so far as to say the scripture was "fictional."

I myself went to Crosswalk.com and looked for that verse in 29 Bible translations. The verse was not in ANY of those.

You can find the article on the false verse here. Pelosi's quote is just another example of the Left twisting the Word of God to promote a humanistic agenda.
