Another Super Outbreak???

There is talk in the weather blogosphere tonight that the chance of a major tornado outbreak in the Central US is very high. The WeatherMatrix blog at AccuWeather quotes meteorologist Joe Bastardi as saying:

"It will be the week that will be, later this week, the week that is, and next week, and for years to come, the week that was... when the weather went wild over the center of (the) nation."

The blog also states that the upper-air pattern matches the pattern of the Super Outbreak of 1974--which took place on the first week of April.

This pattern is worth watching. For my fellow Kentuckians, I strongly recommend you monitor Chris Bailey's Weather Blog--it is the best in Kentucky.
