Monday Afternoon Severe Weather

A line of severe thunderstorms is moving through parts of south-central and southeastern Kentucky. SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNINGS are in effect for Owsley, northern Jackson, and southern Lee counties until 2:15 and for Laurel, Pulaski, southern Rockcastle, NW Clay, and southern Jackson counties until 2:30. I will post updates if needed.

UPDATE at 2:24pm: SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING for NW Breathitt, Lee, north-central Owsley, and SW Wolfe counties until 2:45pm ET.

UPDATE at 3:27pm ET: SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING for northern Bell, SE Clay, western Harlan, eastern Knox, and southern Leslie counties until 4pm ET.
