The Lexington Herald-Leader's Pol Watchers blog is reporting that ten people were arrested and one was cited in an undercover probe of illegal sales of poisonous and venomous snakes and reptiles. According to the blog, several snakes were seized, including illegal western diamondback rattlesnakes, timber rattlesnakes, cottonmouth water moccasins, northern and southern copperheads, cobras, great basin rattlesnakes, a gaboon viper, a puff adder and an alligator. More arrests and charges are pending.
