Highway 15 in Letcher County is shut down near the intersection of Highway 160 about 5 miles NW of Whitesburg due to a tanker truck overturning, causing a diesel spill. Hazmat crews are at the scene at this time. Those traveling to or from Whitesburg on Highway 15 must take an alternate route. Expect the road to be blocked for an extended period of time. I will update as needed.
