Big Blow for Brown and the European Left
British PM Gordon Brown's Labour Party, already reeling from the MPs' expenses scandal, suffered major losses in the European Parliament elections. Other leftists suffered in this weekend's elections. Europeans disillusioned by the recession flocked to the right. While legit law-and-order mainstream conservatives prevailed, the whites-only, anti-immigrant British National Party won two seats. People who voted for those two seats voted for hatred and false conservatism.
