BREAKING: Reds trade Adam Dunn to D-Backs

"The Diamondbacks have acquired a big bat for the pennant race. Arizona claimed Reds left fielder Adam Dunn — currently tied for the major-league lead in home runs — on waivers and a deal was consummated just before the 48-hour window expired Monday, according to major-league sources...Dunn was hitting .233 with 32 home runs and 74 RBIs for the Reds this season."

This is, in my opinion, another blow to the struggling Reds in a horrible season. But it could help the D-Backs in their hopes for a pennant. Your thoughts?

  1. the reds have 1 good player ( volquez) Junior is going downhill a good move there and adam dunn has a struck out every other at bat, not much of a loss for the reds. it will take the reds 3 years before even thinking about the playoffs. as for the nl west the dodgers will win it by 3 games or so since they got manny and casey blake they look good against my phills tonight who are likely suffering from jet-lag tonight.

  2. the accuscore odds on the d-backs went from 51% TO 57% to win the NL west.
