In Memoriam: Tim Russert 1950-2008

The New York Times is reporting that Tim Russert, host of NBC's "Meet the Press," has died suddenly of a heart attack. He was 58. I will have more soon. PRAY for his family.
UPDATE at 3:50pm ET: NBC is reporting that he died after collapsing in the Washington bureau while doing voiceovers for Sunday's "Meet the Press." Click here for more.
UPDATE at 4:14pm ET: Reports are now saying that Russert died of a coronary embolism and not a heart attack as was previously reported.
UPDATE at 5:37pm: The MSNBC story no longer mentions the cause of death. Continue to PRAY for his wife and kids, who are on their way back from a vacation in Italy.
UPDATE at 5:52pm: The TVNewser blog has a statement from Sibley Memorial Hospital here.
UPDATE at 9:06pm: I saw earlier on another blog Wikipedia posted the news about Russert's death before the media broke the story. I looked up the revision history for the Tim Russert article and the first mention of his death was at 3:01pm ET. The revision was made by an anonymous user. Wikipedia lists the IP addresses of anonymous users on revision histories on articles. The IP address of the one who broke the news on Russert belonged to Internet Broadcasting Systems, Inc., a firm that hosts sites for local TV stations, including NBC affiliates.
UPDATE on Saturday at 6:55pm ET: NewsMax has an article about Russert's faith here.
