Quick Severe Weather Update

Quick update regarding the severe threat:

  • Storm Prediction Center still places Eastern Kentucky under a slight risk for severe storms.
  • The new forecast discussion from the Jackson National Weather Service office states that the biggest threat from these storms is high winds.
  • Tornado Watch still in effect for far Western Kentucky, which is also under a moderate risk for severe storms.
