Newsmax is reporting that business news provider Bloomberg could be merging with The New York Times.
Aides to Michael Bloomberg, the NYC mayor which owns Bloomberg LP, are reportedly urging him to merge it with the struggling New York Times Co. The aides also say that "he can take the company private."
